Bagulia was born from a moment of total frustration. Our founder, Julia, found herself spending her last $150 on a bag that she hoped would be an investment — only for it to fall apart just a month later.
Like so many women, she had been fooled one too many times by brands promising "timeless elegance" without delivering the quality to match. She saw "vegan leather" that was really just rebranded plastic and "luxury" price tags on bags that barely lasted a season.
For a long time, Julia believed she simply couldn't afford a high-quality bag; in reality, she was spending twice as much by constantly replacing fast-fashion pieces that lost their shape and luster within months.
